Follow Any HYROX Athlete Live

Today we're switching on live tracking for every HYROX race. Every athlete on a start list now has a live page on TrainRox, with a race clock and each run and station as they finish it. Bordeaux, Karlsruhe and Toronto are the first races. It's free and you don't need an account.

Before the start

Find the athlete on the start list and tap their name. Their page shows when their wave starts, in venue time and in your own time zone, and their personal best. You can add the start to your calendar or send the link to anyone who wants to follow. The link stays the same during and after the race.

During the race

Once they start, the page shows a race clock and their splits, newest on top. Each split has its own time and their total at that point, and the top rows show what they're on now and what's next. Their average running pace sits above the splits. If you'd rather read the race in course order, there's a switch for that. The page refreshes on its own. Under their splits you can see who is just ahead of them and just behind them in their wave, with a link to the whole wave.

Follow a whole wave

On race days each division has a Live tab. It lists everyone on course by wave, with their time and how far they are behind the leader of their wave. Tap Follow on a wave to see only those athletes and the places they win and lose at each split. Finishers stay on that board, and waves that haven't started yet are listed below. Keep it open if you coach several athletes in the same wave, or if you want to see how your athlete is doing against the people around them.

At the finish

When they finish, the page switches to their result, with all their splits, their placings and any PBs or records.

Where to find it

It works for every HYROX race without anything to set up. Boston, Geneva and Gdańsk are next, starting October 8. On race day, open the race from the Events page, pick a division and find your athlete in the start list or on the Live tab. The FAQ has more detail.
