How to Get There +

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the anticipated venue area. Public transport options from the airport are limited for direct venue access; however, once in the city, look for local bus routes or the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) trolley. If the venue is downtown, the MTS Green Line trolley has multiple stops. Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the city and offer a convenient way to reach the venue directly from the airport or your accommodation.

Flexible Training Schedule

What your training plan covers

A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.

Compromised Running

The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.

"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
