How to Get There +
INTEX Osaka is accessible via public transportation. From Kansai International Airport (KIX), the journey to the venue takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Take the Nankai Rapid train from KIX Station to Namba Station, then transfer to the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line towards Suminoekō. Alight at Suminoe Koen Station and it's a short walk to INTEX Osaka. Alternatively, taxis and ride-sharing services are available from major transport hubs and hotels, offering a more direct but potentially more expensive route.
City Guide: Osaka +
Expected weather in January: 4-10°C (39-50°F), 60-70% humidity
For your HYROX Osaka 2027 race weekend, consider staying in areas close to INTEX Osaka for convenience. The Suminoe Ward, where the venue is located, offers practical accommodation options. Alternatively, districts like Namba or Umeda, while further, provide a wider range of hotels and excellent access to Osaka's renowned culinary scene. Both areas are well-connected by public transport. When it comes to dining, explore local eateries in Suminoe for authentic Osaka flavors. For more variety, head to Dotonbori in Namba, famous for its street food and vibrant atmosphere, or explore the basement food halls ('depachika') of department stores in Umeda for an incredible array of bento boxes, sushi, and desserts.

What your training plan covers
A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
Compromised Running
The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
