Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) is the nearest major airport, approximately a 30-40 minute journey to the city center. From the airport, take the Aerobus (A1 or A2) to Plaça de Catalunya, then transfer to the Metro.

Public transport within Barcelona is efficient. Depending on the exact venue location, you'll likely need to use the Metro system. Several lines connect to key areas and can get you close to the event site. The nearest Metro station will depend on the specific venue but is typically accessible via lines L4 (Yellow) or L5 (Blue).

Taxi and ride-sharing services are readily available throughout the city for a more direct route to the venue. Parking at event venues can be limited, so public transport or taxis are recommended.

A DEKA race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a DEKA race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 10 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 10 DEKA stations. SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.

Compromised Running

The true separator in DEKA. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
