On-site registration opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of each division. Venue doors open at 07:00 AM for all participants. If your start time is 08:00, 08:10, or 08:20 AM, you will not be able to enter the venue before 07:00 AM.

Important Notes

  • You must bring ID.
  • Checking in on behalf of others is not allowed.
  • During race weekend, it is only possible to check in on the day you are competing.
  • At athlete registration, you will receive: Athlete wristband, Venue access wristband, Ankle strap & timing chip, Bib number.
  • You will not be able to race without all of the above.

Age group ceremonies for the race weekend will be held after all athletes in each division have competed. If you podiumed, and competed on a weekday, please go to Help Desk with your ID, and you will receive free access to attend the ceremony and collect your flag. Any additional spectators will need to purchase a spectator ticket.

How to Get There +

Rotterdam is easily accessible via Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM), approximately a 20-minute taxi or ride-share from the venue.

From Rotterdam Centraal Station, take Metro Line D (direction de Akkers) and alight at the Zuidplein station. Ahoy Rotterdam is a short walk (approx. 5 minutes) from the station.

Driving is also an option, with ample parking available at the Ahoy venue. Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available throughout the city.

For athletes heading to Rotterdam, the area around the venue, Ahoy Rotterdam, offers convenient accommodation options. Consider staying in the Zuidwijk or Feyenoord districts, which provide relatively close proximity and good transport links.

When it comes to dining, explore the neighborhoods surrounding Ahoy for a variety of culinary experiences. The nearby Zuidplein shopping center offers numerous casual eateries and cafes perfect for a quick pre- or post-race meal. For a broader selection, venture slightly further into the city center, where you can find everything from traditional Dutch 'bitterballen' at a 'bruin café' to international cuisine. Look for restaurants in the Kop van Zuid or Katendrecht areas for a vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu choices.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
