How to Get There +

Lisboa Airport (LIS) is the primary gateway. From the airport, take the Metro Red Line directly to the Oriente station, which is typically the closest stop to the HYROX venue in Parque das Nações. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also readily available at the airport and offer a direct route to the venue, with travel times varying based on traffic.

A DEKA race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a DEKA race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 10 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 10 DEKA stations. SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.

Compromised Running

The true separator in DEKA. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
