Important Notes

  • You must bring a physical copy of ID (digital copies/photographs will not be accepted).
  • Checking in on behalf of others is not allowed.
  • During race weekend, it is only possible to check in on the day you are competing.

At Athlete Registration You Will Receive:

  • Athlete wristband
  • Venue access wristband
  • Ankle strap & timing chip
  • Bib number

You will not be able to race without all of the above.

Ceremony Times +

Age group ceremonies for the race weekend will be held after all athletes in each division have competed. If you podiumed, and competed on a weekday, please go to Help Desk with your ID, and you will receive free access to attend the ceremony and collect your flag. Any additional spectators will need to purchase a spectator ticket. Please refer to the ceremony schedule below.

How to Get There +

The Vienna Congress and Convention Center is easily accessible. From Vienna International Airport (VIE), the quickest public transport option is the S-Bahn line S7 towards Floridsdorf, getting off at Wien Mitte, then transferring to the U-Bahn line U2 towards Seestadt and exiting at 'Messe-Prater'. From there, it's a short walk to the venue. Alternatively, a taxi or ride-share service from the airport will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Paid parking is available at the venue.

For athletes competing at the Vienna Congress and Convention Center, consider staying in or around the Leopoldstadt district (District 2), which is adjacent to the venue, offering convenience and good access. Alternatively, nearby areas like Landstraße (District 3) provide a slightly more central feel with excellent public transport links. When it comes to dining, Leopoldstadt offers a diverse range of options, from traditional Viennese "Beisls" serving Wiener Schnitzel and Goulash to trendy cafes and international cuisine. Look for restaurants along the Praterstrasse or in the charming streets around the Karmelitermarkt for local flavors and a lively atmosphere. Many establishments cater to pre- and post-event meals, so you'll have plenty of fuel for your race and recovery.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.

Compromised Running

The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
