Expected weather in April: 8-14°C (46-57°F), 70-80% humidity
For athletes competing at the Grand-Palais, staying in the 8th arrondissement or nearby areas like the Champs-Élysées offers excellent proximity. The 1st arrondissement (Louvre-Rivoli) and the 7th arrondissement (Eiffel Tower) are also convenient and offer a wealth of accommodation options, from luxury hotels to charming boutique stays.
Foodies will be spoiled for choice. The area around the Grand-Palais is renowned for its upscale brasseries and Michelin-starred restaurants. For a classic Parisian experience, try Bouillon Chartier (though a bit of a metro ride, it's an institution) or explore the numerous cafes and bistros lining the Champs-Élysées for quick bites and delicious French staples like croque monsieur and steak frites. Don't forget to indulge in pastries from a local 'boulangerie' – a perfect pre-race or post-race treat.

What your training plan covers
A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
Compromised Running
The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
