How to Get There +

The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is easily accessible. From Glasgow Airport (GLA), the quickest public transport option is the Airport Express bus (300) to the city center, then a short taxi or bus ride to the SEC. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport takes approximately 20-30 minutes. From Glasgow Queen Street or Glasgow Central train stations, take a taxi or a local bus service (e.g., McGill's 901 or 905) directly to the SEC. The nearest train station is Exhibition Centre, a short walk from the venue. Limited on-site parking is available at the SEC.

For HYROX Glasgow 2027, staying near the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) offers convenience. Consider the immediate Finnieston area, often dubbed the 'Hydro district,' which boasts numerous hotels and is within walking distance of the venue. Alternatively, the city center, just a short journey away, provides a wider array of accommodation options. When it comes to dining, Finnieston is a culinary hotspot. You'll find excellent choices ranging from The Ox and Finnieston for upscale dining and steak, to casual yet delicious spots like Paesano Pizza for authentic Neapolitan pies or El Perro Negro for award-winning burgers. The proximity to the Clyde River also offers scenic walks and a pleasant atmosphere after your race.

Flexible Training Schedule

What your training plan covers

A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.

Compromised Running

The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.

"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
