The nearest major airport is Tenerife South Airport (TFS), approximately a 20-30 minute drive from the venue. From the airport, a taxi or ride-share service is the most convenient option to reach the Tenerife venue. Public transport is available, typically involving bus routes that connect the airport to various towns and then to the venue area, but this can be time-consuming and require transfers. If driving, check for specific parking availability at the venue closer to the event dates.

A DEKA race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a DEKA race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 10 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 10 DEKA stations. SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.

Compromised Running

The true separator in DEKA. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
