How to Get There +
Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD) is the nearest international gateway, approximately a 30-45 minute journey to the venue area. From the airport, take the Metro Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios, then transfer to Line 10 towards Puerta del Sur. Alight at the Pan Bendito station, which is a short walk from the Madrid venue. Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available from the airport and throughout the city, offering a direct route to the venue.

For convenient access to the Madrid venue, consider staying in the districts of Vicálvaro or nearby areas. These locations offer a good balance of proximity to the event site and easy connections to the city center.

A DEKA race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a DEKA race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 10 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 10 DEKA stations. SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.
Compromised Running
The true separator in DEKA. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
