How to Get There +

The nearest international airport to the venue is Cancun International Airport (CUN), approximately a 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic. From the airport, taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available and are the most convenient way to reach the Av. Rbla. Fonatur, Zona Hotelera. Public buses also run frequently from the airport and throughout the hotel zone, with stops near the venue. While parking information is not yet available, relying on taxis or ride-shares is recommended for easy access to the race site.

For athletes competing in HYROX Cancun, staying in the Zona Hotelera will place you closest to the venue at Av. Rbla. Fonatur. This district offers a wide range of hotels, from luxury resorts to more budget-friendly options, many with beachfront access. Alternatively, the nearby downtown Cancun area (El Centro) provides a more local experience and can offer more affordable accommodation, with regular bus services connecting to the hotel zone. For dining, explore the diverse culinary scene in the Zona Hotelera, which features everything from authentic Mexican taquerias to international fine dining. Don't miss the chance to try fresh seafood at one of the many beachfront restaurants or sample local specialties like cochinita pibil.

A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.

Compromised Running

The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
