The racing continues to heat up across the globe as we dive into the latest results from Sydney and Hangzhou. We are also looking at how organizers are refining the sport to ensure fair play, plus a reflection on the 2025/26 season as we shift our focus toward the 2026/27 HYROX season.

News & Updates

One of the most persistent complaints in hybrid racing is the inconsistency of the sled push due to varying floor surfaces and temperatures. TRYKA, an Irish racing league, is tackling this by moving away from fixed weight plates in favor of a force gauge they call a Newton machine. By measuring the actual resistance produced rather than just the load, they ensure the effort remains consistent across lanes and venues. This approach mirrors recent efforts in the sport, such as the use of ratchet straps in Soto del Real to stop turf bunching, highlighting a broader movement to standardize the racing experience. TrainRox is expanding its scope to better serve the community. We have officially begun integrating non-HYROX events like DEKA, HYATLON, and Hybrid Day into our platform, allowing you to track your training and race schedules across multiple formats in one place. You can now filter these events on our new races hub. We are committed to covering the events you train for, so if your favorite series is missing, please tell us about your race so we can add it to the calendar.

Alexander Roncevic recently reflected on his record-breaking 2025/26 campaign with Morning Chalk Up, calling it a perfect season. After winning two Majors and becoming the first athlete to break 52 minutes in Warsaw, he closed his year by securing the Elite 15 Doubles world title in Stockholm. While he prepares for his next chapter in solo Elite 15 racing, he remains skeptical of Olympic ambitions, citing concerns over political interference. He prefers the current community-driven model, comparing his pursuit of titles to the grand slams of tennis. Via Morning Chalk Up.
