News & UpdatesMark your calendars for Wednesday, July 15th, when HYROX publishes its complete 2026/27 Race Calendar. This drop includes every venue and date for the season, making it the essential resource for planning your personal best attempts or World Championship qualifying runs. Head over to HYROX.com to start mapping out your year. Generic pacing advice often fails because every venue features a unique layout and roxzone routing. To help you train smarter, we have integrated Roxlapper into our event pages. By checking the Course Details for a mapped event, you can access venue-specific splits that turn target paces into precise lap and roxzone numbers. See this in action on a mapped race like Sydney. HYROX athlete Lars Rademaker has introduced SquatJudge, an AI-powered tool designed to validate wall ball reps using side-on video. While currently a training aid and not affiliated with HYROX, it highlights the growing potential for automated, objective judging in the sport. You can see Rademaker's tool in action via @larsrademaker, and check out TRYKA's existing camera-based setup from last October via @hybridfitnessmedia. At the HYROX World Championships in Stockholm, Dylan Scott secured his first world title at his sixth attempt with a time of approximately 55 minutes. Despite trailing early, Scott remained calm, executed his strategy, and dominated the burpees before sealing the win with 100 unbroken wall balls. Now a Nike athlete, Scott is already looking ahead to his next Elite outing at a HYROX cruise in October. Read more via Morning Chalk Up. |
