Athlete Check-In:
Registration will take place on all event days, as well as during early registration, directly at the Strawberry Arena (Råsta Strandväg 1, 169 79 Solna, Sweden). Please enter the venue through entrance K – this is the most direct way to the registration area.
Once you are checked-in and have your wristband, you can use the main entrance A for re-entry and on all following event days.

Check-In Requirements:
- Athletes are permitted to register on any day prior to or on the day of their specific race.
- Time Slot Booking & Peak Times: Please book your Registration Time Slot in advance before the event – this is mandatory!
Our records indicate that the three-hour window preceding the Opening Ceremony on Thursday afternoon is consistently the period of highest congestion.
- Identification: All athletes must present a valid photo ID and their Ticket QR code at the check-in desk.
- Personal Presence: Registration must be completed in person. Checking in on behalf of another individual or under an assumed name is strictly prohibited.
The Registration Process
Registration is structured as a two-step sequence to ensure efficiency:
- Race Check-In: Participants will first complete the normal race check-in, known from the normal HYROX events. Athletes receive their timing chip, ankle strap, the official athlete wristband and their start number.
- T-Shirt Collection: Following the check-in, please proceed to the T-shirt station to collect your personalized athlete shirt.
While we are pleased to provide a personalized shirt, please note that wearing the athlete shirt during the competition or the Opening Ceremony is not mandatory. Participants are free to wear the attire they find most suitable and comfortable for their performance.
Racing on multiple days?
You will need to check in separately for each race. To avoid any confusion with timing chips or start numbers, we recommend checking in for your next race only after you have completed the first one.
Registration remains open throughout the entire weekend, so you can return to check in any time before your second race begins!

How to Get There +
The Strawberry Arena is easily accessible via public transport. From Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), the Arlanda Express train to Stockholm Central Station takes approximately 20 minutes, followed by a short Metro ride. Take the Blue Line (T11) towards Akalla and alight at the 'Solna Centrum' station. The arena is a short walk from there.
Alternatively, from Stockholm Central, take the commuter train (Pendeltåg) towards Upplands Väsby/Märsta and get off at 'Solna Station', from where it's a walkable distance. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also readily available.
City Guide: Stockholm +
Expected weather in June: 8-18°C (46-64°F), 60-75% humidity
For the HYROX World Championships, consider staying in the Solna or Sundbyberg areas, both offering convenient access to the Strawberry Arena. Solna Centrum provides a good range of hotels and is well-connected. Sundbyberg, known for its revitalized industrial areas, also boasts modern accommodation options and a lively atmosphere with numerous restaurants and cafes.
When hunger strikes, explore the diverse culinary scene in Solna and its surroundings. Within the Mall of Scandinavia, adjacent to the arena, you'll find a vast selection of eateries, from quick bites to sit-down restaurants offering international cuisine. For a more local experience, venture into the heart of Solna or Sundbyberg for traditional Swedish 'fika' (coffee and pastry) or hearty meals.

What your training plan covers
A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
Compromised Running
The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
